Dr Elizabeth Marles is the President of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and has been a member of the RACGP Council since 2008. Liz is Director of the Hornsby General Practice Unit, which specialises in GP Teaching, particularly registrar remediation and prevocational education. For the past 15 years Liz has also been a GP at the Aboriginal Medical Service in Redfern, where she is a GP supervisor with a special interest in diabetes, and presenter in the aboriginal health training component of GP Synergy’s registrar teaching program. Liz is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and was a foundation Director on the General Practice Education and Training Board. She is passionate about general practice training, Aboriginal health and the future of general practice.

Dr Primrose graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney in 1978 and underwent postgraduate training in radiation oncology at Royal Prince Alfred and Westmead Hospitals. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists in 1983.

Dr Primrose joined the (then) Commonwealth Department of Health in 1990 as a Senior Medical Advisor. Between 1990 and 2006, he worked in pharmaceutical benefits, rational use of medicines, Medicare benefits and health technology assessment. He formerly chaired the Management Advisory Committee of the World Health Organization’s Action Programme on Essential Drugs and Vaccines.

Dr Primrose is currently Medical Advisor to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Branch and is heavily involved in the evaluation of pharmaceuticals for listing on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, as well as the operational aspects of the Scheme.

Dr Hung The Nguyen is a General Practitioner in Private General Practice and in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service.  Hung currently sits on these boards, South East Melbourne Primary Health Network and Health Education Australia Limited.  He is the inaugural Censor for the RACGP National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Faculty. He is a Councillor on the AMA Victoria Council and the Victorian Clinical Council where he is also on the Executive Committee.  Through his directorship appointments, he is concerned with positive patient journeys through the health system and patient engagement in the quality improvement process in health care.

Professor Glasziou is a medical researcher and part-time General Practitioner. As a consequence of observing the gap between these, he has focused his work on identifying and removing the barriers to using high quality research in everyday clinical practice. He was editor of the BMJs journal of Evidence-Based Medicine, and Director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine in Oxford from 2003-2010. He is the author of several other books related to evidence based practice.

He is currently the recipient of an NHRMC Australia Fellowship which he commenced at Bond University in July, 2010.

Dr Dowden worked for 19 years as a general practitioner before joining the editorial team at Australian Prescriber in 1990. Dr Dowden is a founding Director of Therapeutic Guidelines Limited, Editor-in-Chief at Australian Prescriber and member of the International Society of Drug Bulletins.

Professor Kidd AM is Professor of Global Primary Care at Southgate Institute for Health, Society and Equity at Flinders University, Adelaide. He is a past president of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and past president of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA). He is the past chair of the Australian Government’s Ministerial Advisory Committee on Blood Borne Viruses and Sexually Transmissible Infections.

Lisa Kruesi, B Soc Sci, MBIT, AALIA is the Faculty Librarian, Health & Life Sciences, The University of Melbourne, since 2017 and a PhD Candidate, Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University. Lisa is a Co-convenor of the Australian Evidence-Based Practice Librarians' Institute and a Board Director for Therapeutic Guidelines Ltd. She has extensive experience having worked with top Australian research universities and at CSIRO. In 2014-2016, she was the Manager of the Hargrave-Andrew Library at Monash University. During 2000 until early 2011, she had responsibility for the health sciences library service at The University of Queensland and managed the hospital, dentistry, pharmacy and rural clinical school libraries. From 2011-2014 she was the Executive Advisor to the Editor-in-Chief of the journal, International Surgery, a role held during her appointment as the Associate Director, Scholarly Publishing and Digitisation Service at The University of Queensland Library. She has worked as a teacher in the software industry and as an expert searcher for a leading intellectual property firm. Lisa’s career in biomedical libraries commenced at CSIRO, where she worked for over a decade. Lisa has published a number of papers related to health library services and has been actively involved in professional development activities throughout her career.

B.Pharm, Adv Prac Pharm, FPS, MSHPA Professor Rowett is the Director of the Drug and Therapeutics Information Service (DATIS), Repatriation General Hospital, Adelaide. She is the current President of the Australian Pharmacy Council and the immediate past Chair of the Accreditation Committee. Debra serves on a number of local and state advisory committees including the National Drug Utilisation SubCommittee of the Australian Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee and the Central Clinical Council for the Adelaide Primary Health Network. Debra is an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Australia and the University of Queensland. Debra has worked extensively in the field of Quality Use of Medicines. Debra is a Chief Investigator on a number of research grants which include building a research network in Palliative care both nationally and internationally, and Antimicrobial Stewardship in Residential Aged Care.

Tony Evans has financial and corporate governance experience as a senior executive and a board member in the health, aged care, education, resources and not-for-profit sectors.  Tony is currently a Board Director of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and the Australian Dental Council Ltd and a member of the Optometry Board of Australia. He has a Bachelor of Business and a Diploma in Education and is a Fellow of CPA Australia, the Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
